We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Electronics Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our customers with solutions to their obsolete electronics. You will play a critical role in supporting the engineering team and ensuring the long-term support and sustainability of products by identifying and implementing cost-effective solutions for obsolete or at-risk components.

Responsibilities
• Technical Analysis: Evaluate and qualify replacement components and solutions, ensuring form, fit, function compatibility.
• Data Management: Contribute to maintaining a comprehensive database of obsolescence information such as proposed solutions and datasheets.
• Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and production, to ensure effective communication and resolution of obsolescence issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in obsolescence management.

Qualifications
A qualification in electronics engineering or a related discipline such as but not limited to:
Diploma/Certificate in Electronics Engineering
Higher National Certification or Higher National Diploma
Bachelor's Degree (BEng or BSc)
Master's Degree (MEng or MSc)
Qualification can be UK or non-UK
