A global leading Hedge Fund has launched a Fintech Organisation in Newcastle, United Kingdom and we are seeking a talented Front-End Developer to join their team of technologists develop their Front-End applications for large scale projects including portfolio management suites, fund platforms and treasury systems using React and JavaScript.
Within this Front-End Developer opportunity you will have a great understanding of React and proven experience of developing rapid and fluid front end applications. You will have experience in programming in JavaScript as an OO language and an expert knowledge on React Framework. You will have great communication skills, enabling you to interact with the business and your team around you to deliver hi-quality technical solutions. This is a great opportunity to provide cutting edge SPA's with the latest technologies, such as HTML5 and CSS3, whilst gaining financial experience. Experience with RESTful backend API's servicing the frontend with JSON documents is highly desirable.
This role will provide a platform to build some of the most forward thinking front-end applications for world-first products within the hedge fund industry, allowing you to put your own creative stamp on a product.
Key requirements within role are as follows:
Expert knowledge with ReactJS - Required
At least 3 years’ experience with JavaScript programming - Must have
Ability to program with a functional language - Desirable
Expertise in HTML5 and CSS3 - Required
Ability to carry out TDD practices with Front-end development- Required
Computer Science or Mathematical degree - Required
Experience with RESTful backend API’s servicing the frontend with JSON documents - Desirable
Great communication skills - Must have
Passionate about working within the financial sector - Required
BSc in STEM disciple and A’Levels
