Job Purpose
The position is a key part within the Logistics team working with all departments to ensure the successful completion of bulk deliveries. In day execution of pre-planned bulk delivery schedules covering all issues arising throughout the day.
Accountabilities
Interface for drivers when they are on the road aiding with any challenges that arise.
Re-prioritising and modifying routes as the day’s events occur.
Maintain strong relationships with Customer Service, Sales, Sites and Drivers and ensure the fluid communication of any information that may impact on Flogas’ ability to delivery gas to their customers.
Undertake daily administration tasks, including dealing with health and safety concerns raised drivers, confirming deliveries and managing details within accounts.
Understand systems required to successfully perform the job
Keep line management informed of any key issues
Meeting personal and departmental performance targets
Continually looking for new ways to improve the way that the department communicates and interfaces with stakeholders across the business
