Due to the sensitive nature of our projects, this position requires on-site work in our Clapiers office.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer located in Clapiers (near Montpellier), France. The person in this role will be responsible for:

Leading software development efforts, ensuring alignment with technical and business objectives
Overseeing project execution, managing timelines, and facilitating collaboration within the development team
Organizing and preparing software deliveries, ensuring quality and timely execution
Reviewing and validating changes to software components, maintaining compliance with best practices and system requirements
Ensuring proper documentation of technical specifications, modifications, and user guides
Developing and maintaining software components, primarily in Python, with a focus on maintainability
Guiding and supporting the development team, fostering best practices and continuous improvement
Contributing to proposal writing activities, providing technical insights and project estimations

Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in software development and project coordination
Strong Python programming skills
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with software documentation practices and technical writing
Experience in software delivery coordination, release management, and change control
Experience in team leadership and mentorship, fostering collaboration and technical excellence
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
Experience with proposal writing and technical documentation is a plus
Good communication skills
