About The Role
An opportunity has arisen to join our IT Applications Liquidlogic team providing 18 months maternity cover supporting our social care & education applications. We provide a professional, proactive and responsive IT service to end users of the Liquidlogic Application.
We are looking for an experienced IT Application Lead to oversee the development, continuous improvement and support of our adults Liquidlogic application.
The key responsibilities within this role include collaboration with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. Ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of application systems and developing and enforcing best practices and standards for application development and management.
You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members; manage escalations to external suppliers, monitor responses; taking action and seeing issues through to resolution.
About You
A good understanding of Social Care and Education and experience of supporting and developing the LiquidLogic product is essential; along with excellent problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate will have an in depth knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices and be customer focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively using your initiative and have a passion for identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Candidates should demonstrate they are familiar with strong change management processes and be able to lead on system upgrades & new developments.
Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible via car or public transport, with a train station 5 minutes walk away. We operate a flexible working policy here in Bath & North East Somerset with the option to work at other sites or at home.
