Your Mission
As a Solution architect finOps your role will be critical in managing and optimizing the financial operations of our IT and cloud services. You will be responsible for:
Implementing FinOps solutions using well-architected frameworks.
Develop and implement FinOps strategies and frameworks to optimize cloud spending and enhance financial accountability.
Engaging with key stakeholders, including directors and solution leads, to discuss optimization strategies.
Work closely with engineering, product, finance, and operations teams to align cloud cost management practices with business objectives.
Analyze cloud usage and spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement optimization initiatives across cloud services.
Collaborating with service delivery managers and technical teams to ensure cost-effective cloud solutions.
Conducting deep dives to identify and execute cost-saving measures.
Manage cloud billing and budgeting processes, track spending, and forecast future cloud costs.
Create detailed financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders to provide insights into cloud spending and savings.
Establish and enforce cloud financial management policies and governance to ensure compliance and cost-efficiency.
Evaluate and implement FinOps tools and automation solutions to streamline cloud cost management processes.
Educate and train teams on cloud financial management best practices, promoting a culture of cost-consciousness and financial responsibility.
Participate in relationships with cloud service providers and Participate in negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective use of services.
Your Profile

FinOps Certified Practitioner at least
AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect
Proficiency in technical aspects related to IT and financial operations in the cloud.
Experience in cloud solutions architecture, FinOps, AWS and/or Azure, and project management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct presentations and training.
Open-mindedness and a collaborative approach, capable of engaging with various stakeholders.
Leadership qualities to gain trust and respect from the team and other departments.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex cloud financial data and make strategic recommendations.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
