Infopro Digital Group are recruiting for a talented and motivated Data Application Consultant to join our team on a permanent basis in Haynes Group Limited, who sit within Infopro Digital's Automotive division. Infopro is a global organisation with 4,000 employees based in 18 Countries and a turnover of €550 million.

We are looking for a Data Application Consultant to work alongside the Data Application Team. They are responsible for working directly with customers in implementing their lubricant product branding strategies, as well as identifying and standardising equipment information and lubricant specifications for components of that equipment on a worldwide basis.

The team also collaborate with other departments to offer technical assistance on customer queries and assist with regular data quality checks to ensure the accuracy of our data deliveries.

Responsibilities

Product Matching
To undertake Lubricant product matching on behalf of customers
To support customers to maintain and update their own Lubricant product matching
Delivery Initial/on-demand training to end users on the Product Match system
To collaborate with colleagues in developing product matching ‘best practices' including use of Product Matching software.
Assist Stakeholders by demonstrating the Product Matching to existing clients and prospects
To take an active role in monthly testing of new releases of Product Matching

Data Checking and Sourcing

To check and report any data issues raised internally/clients via Jira system
To assist Data input team be supplying OE source data supplied by clients/internal on any inconsistencies requiring review

Technical Help Desk

Providing support in line with agreed procedures to the Stakeholders regarding queries related to Data or Product Matching issues
Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with customers and provide added value to them on a consistent, ongoing basis
Assist in investigating any potential technical claims related to accuracy of the Database or Product Matching

Requirements

Technical based history - knowledge of lubricants/specifications
Good communications skills and used to communicating with end users
Being able to work in groups and as an individual
Good computer skills.

Desirable Skills

Oil Industry/Motor Trade background - preferably technical role
Mechanical knowledge - ability to understand the design and function of engines/transmissions etc
Skills/hobbies related to motorsport or mechanical bodies
