This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte Operation for an engagement with one of our premiere Investment Banking clients

The role consists of coordinating and delivering excellent Client Service to clients from all Non-US regions (EMEA and Asia ex. Japan) in relation to the Offshore Liquidity Funds. The role will require a pro-active approach in supporting ongoing client needs, identifying Client Service enhancements and evolving these ideas into implementation or making recommendations to Management. The role also involves working closely with the various Sales Teams and other departments within the firm to improve the overall Client Experience. Improving the efficiencies within the team, as well as day to day client trade order and query handling are also priorities.

Working closely with regional sales teams across all channels and internal distribution teams to contribute to the Asset Management Funds distribution effort
Responding to daily incoming calls and queries from internal and external clients / trading platforms regarding our Offshore Funds range of products, specifically Liquidity Funds
Ensuring regulatory and company compliance standards are met
Escalating and managing sensitive client issues to Sales, Compliance, Legal and Senior Management
Researching and understanding the business requirements of the various regions where Asset Management Offshore Funds are distributed
Pro-actively identifying enhancements for clients and communicating these internally
Helping to automate various functions within the team and identifying ways to makes processes more efficient and streamlined.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with good academic record or equivalent gained through relevant work experience
Basic understanding of Mutual Funds, especially Money Market Funds
High level of accuracy and the ability to maintain this standard whilst under pressure
Excellent communication, organisation, and multi-tasking skills with ability to set own priorities
Highly motivated and independent but also able to work within a team
Exposure to a fast paced environment with the need to remain in control of different items
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks as necessary
Client call and query handling skills. Must be able to build strong relationship with business management, external vendors and internal clients alike
Must work well in a team but also exhibit strong leadership capabilities in order to help drive solutions to complex issues
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Must be able to explain intricate issues to colleagues and the business in such a manner that each can understand
Attention to detail but also have the ability to see the bigger picture and manage competing priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in the finance/asset management industry
IMC or similar qualification an advantage
Experience in working as part of a global team

My client is looking for an experienced Software and Systems Manual Test Engineer to support them with a crucial implementation and integration project on a contract basis. This will initially be for four months, with the possible view to extend. You will be sitting within an existing, experienced test team but will specifically work on this piece of work along side a Test Lead. A new central message exchange system and data integration platform will be implemented, then integrated across the business which will require software and systems testing along the path of the project and through to the end of the project. The final stage of the project with be the testing of the product. The company are predominantly a manual testing house; however, some experience of automation is required as some automation may be introduced at times. The databases are all Oracle and SQL based so experience of working on both is required and DevOps is in place to manage the project work. The Test Team currently work with DSDM, so experience of working with Agile is essential and currently working to two weekly sprints. Please note, you would be required to attend the office in Horley, Surrey 1-2 times a week so it’s imperative you can travel here consistently. Please do not apply if this location isn't suitable. More locally based candidates would be preferable for this reason.
