About the Role:
Are you a seasoned Safety Case Engineer looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Safety Case Engineer to join our dynamic team on a 12-month contract. This role offers the flexibility to be based in one of our multiple locations: Warrington, Bristol, Newbury, or Leicester.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and delivery of safety case documentation for major projects.
Provide expert advice and guidance on safety case management and regulatory compliance.
Conduct rigorous safety assessments and risk analyses to ensure high standards of safety and reliability.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate safety case requirements into project design and execution.
Engage with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to communicate safety case findings and recommendations.
Mentor and support junior safety case engineers, fostering a culture of safety excellence.
Qualifications and Experience:
Extensive experience in safety case engineering, preferably within the nuclear or high-hazard industries.
Proven track record of leading safety case projects from inception to completion.
In-depth knowledge of safety case regulations, standards, and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical information.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field. Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable.
