Summary of the role:
As a Risk Manager you will be responsible for overseeing risk and controls while collaborating with the business to manage risks in your specialist area. You will utilise and promote our risk framework to support the successful achievement of Diligenta's objectives.
You will apply effective risk management practices, proactively anticipating and assessing potential impacts of risks arising from client-specific operations undertaken by Diligenta, as well as shared service activities supported by the Enterprise Risk team. Collaborating with key Diligenta stakeholders and client risk management teams, you will enhance risk ownership, identify weaknesses, and promote best practices across the business.

What you'll be doing:
Supporting the Senior Risk Manager in functional engagement (internal and external) from a Line 2 risk perspective to ensure the risk management policy is properly Embedded and reported.
Reviewing and challenging Line 1 risk reporting through both top-down and bottom-up assessments.
Ensuring risks and controls are properly understood, evaluated and managed.
Providing Evidence to demonstrate the effective implementation, maintenance and delivery of the Diligenta Risk Management Framework
Delivering the required risk reports to a high standard and with minimal editing by the Senior Risk Manager
Ensuring risk appetite and tolerance are appropriately monitored and acted upon (both Diligenta risk appetite and within the client arrangements).
What we're looking for:
Strong technical knowledge of risk management software tools and their use.
Excellent stakeholder management experience - able to work effectively with key business and client stakeholders.
Proven expertise in systems and data leadership, with a strong understanding of technological trends and their impact on risk management.
Experience working with IT, IS, Cloud or AI
At least 5 years' experience in a Line 1, Line 2, or Line 3 risk role
A risk-based or technology-based qualification or accreditation from an industry body
Strong MS Access, Excel and reporting skills.
