As a Technical Team Lead for our Bots team, you’ll be at the helm of a vital part of our engineering team. Your role involves not only ensuring the technical excellence of our bot integrations but also leading your team in delivering robust, scalable, and secure solutions. You’ll work closely with the Product Manager to understand complex problems and collaborate with your team to craft innovative solutions. As a coach and mentor, you’ll help team members grow, while maintaining a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture.
What you'll do
Elevate Software Craftsmanship: Lead by example, promoting best practices in software development, testing, and iteration. Set the standard for quality and performance.
Mentorship: Provide guidance at all levels, from juniors to peers. Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and help others grow technically.
System Design & Optimization: Collaborate on system architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness. Drive design improvements and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
Technical Ownership: Contribute to the roadmap and ensure projects are delivered on time with the highest standards. Play a key role in risk assessment and mitigation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, bridging the gap between strategy and execution.
Who you are:
4+ years of experience in software engineering roles, ideally across companies at different growth stages.
In-depth knowledge of Typescript for back-end and/or front-end applications.
Strong experience in cloud-native development, with a preference for AWS expertise.
Proficiency in designing scalable, high-performance systems.
Proven track record of mentoring engineers and fostering a collaborative, communicative team environment.
You thrive in dynamic environments, balancing short-term goals with long-term vision.
You're based in Belgium and excited to work together with the TechWolf team in our Ghent office at least three days per week.
