Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Hybrid/London Based - 1 day in office
£600-£700/day (Outside IR35)

A dynamic comp any is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their innovative team and have a chance to contribute directly to the advancement of clean energy technologies. This role involves developing cutting-edge technology that drives sustainable solutions in smart energy management.
As a key member of the engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and testing firmware.

What you’ll do:
Design, code, and test embedded systems firmware.
Improve codebase structure and design.
Contribute to the development of new generation products.
Provide 3rd level support, debugging hardware and firmware issues.
Build and maintain automated testing.
Skills & Experience:
5+ years of C/C++ embedded software development.
Microcontroller experience (e.g., NXP LPC, NXP IMX RT, STM32).
RTOS experience (e.g., FreeRTOS, ThreadX).
Strong understanding of Digital Electronics.
Bootloader development experience.
Secure boot and application authentication.
