A newly emerged hedge fund is seeking Python Quant Developers with expertise in Treasury, Liquidity Management, and ALM to join its expanding Quant Technology team. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of quantitative finance, technology, and treasury analytics, developing cutting-edge solutions to optimize liquidity, risk, and funding strategies.
Role Overview:
The Python Quant Developer will be responsible for:
Developing and optimizing Python-based quantitative models for liquidity forecasting, cash flow optimization, and funding strategies.
Implementing high-performance financial systems supporting ALM, FTP (Funds Transfer Pricing), and balance sheet optimization.
Collaborating with Quants, Traders, and Risk Teams to enhance decision-making through data-driven insights.
Working with large-scale time-series data, real-time analytics, and risk simulations.
Integrating models with cloud-based and on-prem financial infrastructures (AWS, Azure, or similar).
Key Requirements:
Strong Python programming skills (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, PySpark preferred).
Experience with SQL, NoSQL, or time-series databases (KDB+, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Background in quantitative finance, risk modeling, or balance sheet management.
Familiarity with financial products (fixed income, FX, derivatives, repo markets, etc.).
Experience with API development, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms is a plus.
