Position Overview:
Senior PHP Developer who thrives on solving complex problems and building first-class applications whilst ensuring their AI-powered systems are fast, secure, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop & Optimise: Build and maintain backend systems using PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and MongoDB,
AI-Driven Development: Work closely with AI team to integrate cutting-edge machine learning models into their software.
Performance & Security: Implement secure authentication mechanisms, optimise application performance, and troubleshoot critical issues.
Cloud & Deployment: Deploy and maintain applications in Linux environments using Docker and AWS.
API Development: Create and refine RESTful APIs to support Single Page Applications (SPAs).
Essential Skills/Experience:
4+ years’ experience with PHP and Laravel in a production environment.
Database expertise in MySQL and MongoDB, with a strong understanding of data structure optimisation.
Cloud & DevOps experience—Docker, Linux-based virtual machines, and some AWS exposure
Version control mastery using Git for collaborative development.
Multi-tenancy & Scalable Systems—experience building and maintaining SaaS platforms.
Problem-solving mindset—Individuals who think fast and tackle complex challenges head-on.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Additional backend frameworks or languages—Python, Node.js, or Go would be a plus.
