This company is poised to make a significant impact in the AI space, with a strong focus on ensuring the safety and ethical governance of advanced AI systems.
We are currently seeking multiple highly skilled and experienced Research Engineers to join the team. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of working on cutting-edge AI Safety and Governance topics, particularly in a research-focused capacity. Candidates should have spent a significant portion of their careers working at leading frontier AI labs or institutions and have demonstrated expertise in tackling complex challenges related to AI risk, ethics, and policy.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct advanced research in AI Safety and Governance, contributing to the development of robust frameworks and guidelines for AI systems.
Collaborate with a talented and interdisciplinary team to design and implement solutions that prioritize safety, transparency, and fairness in AI systems.
Contribute to the company's thought leadership in AI ethics and safety, influencing both internal strategies and the broader AI community.
Participate in high-level discussions around policy and governance for AI, ensuring the company’s vision aligns with global standards and regulatory frameworks.
Ideal Candidate:
Significant experience in AI Safety, AI Governance, or related fields, preferably at top-tier AI research labs or companies.
Strong academic background and research experience in AI, Machine Learning, or related disciplines.
Demonstrated expertise in AI alignment, risk mitigation, policy, or governance frameworks.

You will solve problems and be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure in the Bristol site. You Will: Report to the Manager, Desktop Support, and provide Tier 1 end-user support through various channels such as phone, in-person, and ticketing system for all IT-related questions and issues from Ping Identity employees and affiliates. Prioritise support tickets, identifying those requiring urgent attention, and perform problem analysis to recognize support call trends and areas for improvement. Contribute to the knowledge base by creating articles to document common issues and configurations, fostering self-service troubleshooting among employees. Manage software licenses, including assignment and tracking, to ensure compliance and efficiency. Handle IT hardware assets, including issuance, tracking, and maintenance of computers, monitors, phones, and peripherals. Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees by provisioning equipment, setting up logins, and providing orientation to the IT environment. Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, including disabling access and collecting assets to maintain security and inventory accuracy. Perform various facilities-related tasks, such as office moves, shipping/receiving, and providing support for conference rooms. You Have: Experience in an IT support role, demonstrating a solid foundation in providing technical assistance to end-users. Proficiency in supporting MacOS and Windows 10 systems, with hands-on experience troubleshooting common issues and configurations. Experience providing hardware support for both Apple and Windows (Dell, Microsoft, etc.) devices, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
