General Summary:
Software Application Engineer role focusing on BSP/HLOS and is the primary communication person with customers for technical topics. The candidate tracks and understands customers’ technical requirements/issues along with priorities/schedules and translates them into actions for internal teams. Candidate will need to mobilize the required expertise calling on HW/SW application engineers, testing and development teams. The prime measure of success is the quality and responsiveness of the technical support delivered to the assigned project.
An ideal candidate will be coming with strong wireless communication background with BSP/HLOS skill

Responsibilities
Good Understanding of embedded systems, microcontroller architectures and Real Time Operating systems concepts.
Knowledge of Core BSP techniques like clocks, Interrupts, DDR added advantage.
Familiarity with peripheral interfaces (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, USB).
Strong problem-solving, debugging & Analytical skills.
Issue reporting and follow-up for resolution.
Excellent communication and documentation skills
On-site support towards device manufacturers and/or EU operators.
Collaborating with various teams across different QC offices as per the task.
Assessing complex technical issues arising from customer product developments
Leading and coordinating engineering resources in resolving complex technical issues
Organizing technical training, design reviews and engineering workshops on behalf of customers
Hosting conference calls and web meetings
Building trusted relationship with customers and Qualcomm internal team

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

5-7 years’ experience with debugging and analysis of wireless communication systems.
Preferred Qualifications
