Senior Software Engineer – Embedded C, Linux – Chippenham – £50-70k – Hybrid Working

Are you a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Embedded C and Linux? Join a cutting-edge engineering company in Chippenham developing world-class solutions. Due to growth, my client are looking for a highly motivated Embedded Software Engineer to drive innovation and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and support embedded software for existing and next-generation products.
Create applications in embedded and desktop Linux environments.
Work within an Agile team (Kanban/Scrum), collaborating on cutting-edge development.
Mentor junior engineers and foster technical growth within the team.
Lead by example, providing technical leadership and delivering robust software solutions.

Skills & Experience Required:
Degree in Computer Systems Engineering, STEM, or equivalent experience.
Strong proficiency in real-time embedded software development using C.
Experience with I2C, SPI, and memory-mapped hardware peripherals.
Knowledge of Linux development, including drivers and system-level programming.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern software development workflows.
