We are looking for a senior back-end software engineer to join our client’s team and play a key role in developing innovative insurance solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major digital transformation, leveraging data and automation to improve efficiency and enhance customer experiences.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As an essential team member, you will:

Design and develop solutions using COBOL (EGL) on A and C platforms.
Translate functional requirements into robust and scalable technical implementations.
Define program structures, execute test cases, and modify existing programs for production.
Ensure quality through self and peer code reviews.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and defects while ensuring seamless system integration.
Collaborate in an Agile environment, working closely with business and technical stakeholders in an international setting.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you should have:

At least 5 years of experience in back-end software development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Agile methodologies and a collaborative mindset.
The ability to work independently and deliver results under time pressure.
Experience in mainframe environments with the ability to quickly adapt to complex systems.
A proactive attitude with the confidence to challenge ideas and drive innovation.
Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
