Java Algo Developer – London (4 Days in Office)

Founded in 2015, the company has established itself as a pioneer in institutional crypto trading, providing 24/7 liquidity and execution services across spot, derivatives, borrowing, and lending markets. As a principal market maker, they serve brokerages, exchanges, banks, and fund managers, bridging the gap between traditional finance and digital asset markets.

Role Overview:
They are seeking a highly skilled Java Algo Developer to join its London-based team. This is an individual contributor role focused on developing and optimising low-latency trading algorithms for pricing and execution. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with traders and technologists to refine proprietary trading strategies, enhance system performance, and integrate with exchanges.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimise algorithmic trading strategies using Java.
Work on pricing and execution systems, ensuring high performance and low latency.
Enhance exchange connectivity and integration with financial market data feeds.
Collaborate with quants, traders, and technologists to improve trading infrastructure.

Qualifications
6+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on algorithmic trading.
Strong experience in pricing and/or exchange connectivity.
Low-latency development expertise is highly preferred.
Experience with SQL/databases and Python.
Background in FX trading or a similar fast-paced trading environment is advantageous.
