IOT Test Engineer (MQTT/CoAP/HTTP)

JD:
1. IoT Testing Skills:
IoT Architecture Knowledge: Understanding embedded systems, IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP), and cloud integration.
Device Testing: Testing hardware, firmware, and performance of IoT devices.
Connectivity Testing: Verifying communication protocols (Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Bluetooth) and network coverage.
Security Testing: Ensuring secure authentication, data encryption, and penetration testing for IoT devices.
Data Testing: Verifying data integrity, synchronization, and handling of big data in IoT systems.
Test Automation: Knowledge of automating IoT testing scripts and integrating with CI/CD pipelines (optional)
2. Wireless & Networking Knowledge:
Networking Protocols: Familiarity with TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT, Zigbee, Bluetooth, and other wireless protocols.
Network Topologies: Understanding IoT device network architectures and communication strategies.
Connectivity & Performance Testing: Measuring latency, bandwidth, and signal strength in wireless networks and devices.
Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving network-related issues in IoT environments.
3. JIRA & Agile Methodology:
JIRA Proficiency: Logging test cases, defects, and tracking issues with JIRA; using JQL for advanced search and reporting.
Agile Knowledge: Familiarity with Scrum and Agile processes, including sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
Defect Lifecycle: Managing defects from identification, logging, and resolution to retesting and closure.
4. Core Testing Skills:
Manual & Automated Testing: Experience in manual testing and writing automated test scripts.
Test Execution: Ability to execute test cases in sprints, logging defects, and providing reports.
Performance & Load Testing: Conducting stress and scalability tests for IoT systems and applications.
API Testing: Proficiency in testing APIs for integration between IoT devices, software, and cloud systems.
