At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a AWS Cloud Engineer to join our UniQue team in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium!
What will you be doing in this role:
Administer, configure, and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC.
Provide Level 2/3 support for AWS-related issues, investigating and resolving operational problems in a timely manner.
Provision and maintain virtual machines, storage, and databases on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
Manage and optimize AWS networking components like VPCs, subnets, route tables, VPNs, and Direct Connect.
Automate the deployment and management of AWS resources using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar tools.
Develop scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks, such as instance management, backups, and scaling
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
Graduate degree in Computer and Information Systems Technology or an equivalent level of qualification or professional accreditation by a related engineering Institute or professional body
Experience with Amazon AWS cloud environment (IAM, EC2, ALB, Cloudfront, Cloudformation, WAF, Monitoring, Storage, Cognito)
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers
Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Proficiency in managing and securing VPC networks, firewalls, and access control.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus).
Fluent English in both spoken and written.
