Engineering Manager – Health Tech

Manchester (1 day per week onsite) | Up to £100,000 | .NET | C# | Azure | React

Are you an experienced Engineering Manager looking to make a real-world impact in a purpose-driven company? We’re hiring on behalf of a growing health tech business that's using cutting-edge technology to transform patient care across the UK.

Tech you'll be overseeing:
Backend: .NET Core / C#
Cloud: Azure
Frontend: React
CI/CD, DevOps, Agile delivery
Terraform, Kubernetes, Microservices

What you’ll be doing:
Leading and mentoring a team of engineers (mix of backend, frontend, and full stack)
Partnering with Product, UX, and Delivery to bring new features to life
Defining technical roadmaps and driving engineering excellence
Scaling systems that handle sensitive healthcare data securely and reliably

What we're looking for:
Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Lead Engineer ready to step up
Strong background in .NET/C# and modern cloud environments like Azure or AWS
A solid understanding of frontend tech like React
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a people-first approach
A passion for tech-for-good and improving healthcare through software

Hybrid Working:
You’ll join the team in Manchester once a week, with flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time.
