Our client, a dynamic and high profile organisation, urgently require an experienced AWS SysOps Administrator to join their team.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:
In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting
AWS certification (AWS Certified SysOps Administrator is highly beneficial)
DevOps engineering experience or certification
SC Cleared as a minimum

Within this role, you will be responsible for:
Advanced AWS Infrastructure Management: Take the lead in the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of AWS resources, including EC2 instances, RDS databases, S3 storage, VPC, and other critical components.
Security and Compliance: Champion the implementation and monitoring of security best practices and compliance standards, safeguarding the integrity of cloud-based systems
Identify opportunities for advanced performance enhancement and cost optimisation within AWS environments, driving the necessary changes to ensure efficiency
Implement and maintain sophisticated monitoring tools and alerting systems to proactively detect and address issues within cloud infrastructure
Formulate and oversee comprehensive backup and disaster recovery solutions to guarantee data continuity and business resilience
Collaborate closely with the DevOps team to lead the automation of routine tasks, develop infrastructure as code, and streamline deployment processes
Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of AWS-related incidents
