Why Your Role Is Important
We are seeking a Senior Product Data Analyst to join our team and drive our initiatives around our platform’s data and AI. This role combines product thinking, customer engagement, and data analytics expertise to build our next-generation insights and assistant platform.
Our ambition is to make data a true product within our organization—serving users and the business by structuring and ensuring the reliability of processes. You will lead initiatives to transform complex infrastructure data into actionable intelligence for our customers while also strengthening our internal analytics capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to shape how both customers and internal teams understand and leverage our platform's data in new ways.
As our first dedicated analytics hire, you'll have the autonomy to define and implement solutions, working closely with customers, product teams, and leadership to deliver high-impact analytics tools. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives at the intersection of customer needs and data-driven solutions, able to rapidly prototype and validate ideas while building for long-term success.
Your Day-to-day Responsibilities
What will your job look like:
Lead initiatives to help customers gain valuable insights from their infrastructure data and improve their operational efficiency
Find new ways to leverage our platform’s data to bring value to our customers (including AI)
Design and implement POC dashboards and assistants focusing on key areas such as build performance, cost optimization, security compliance, and production metrics
Iterate quickly with stakeholders, gathering feedback and validating solutions through rapid prototyping
Partner with product and engineering teams to structure and optimize our internal analytics stack (BigQuery, Posthog) ensuring we collect the right data
Define and implement company-wide KPIs, creating internal reporting dashboards that drive business decisions
Lead the improvement of our billing pipeline, enhancing both internal processes and customer-facing reporting
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support various teams' decision-making processes
What You'll Get At Qovery
5 + years experience in data analysis, preferably in a SaaS or infrastructure company
Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation
Experience in dashboard creation and data visualization (e.g., Looker, Tableau, or similar tools)
Experience turning user interactions and product data into AI-powered features, particularly AI assistants or recommendation systems
Track record of leading data-driven projects from inception to delivery
Strong sense of ownership with an entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action and business results, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience conducting user interviews and gathering requirements
Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and business stakeholders
Background in product analytics and familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Posthog, Amplitude) is a plus
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts is a plus
Fluency in oral and written English
