Senior DevOps Engineer (OOP Python Necessary) – Billion-Dollar Hedge Fund
Compensation: up to £300,000
Location: London
WFH: 2 Days in office / 3 from home

The Company:

My client is highly regarded as one of the top billion-dollar asset management firms, renowned for their diversified approach within the derivatives market, utilizing their cutting-edge infrastructure to generate consistent returns.

The Role:

They’re looking for a senior hire, someone who won’t require any handholding and be solely responsible for the cloud-native roadmap – the successful candidate will be responsible for transitioning the internal infrastructure from on-prem to being fully Cloud-Native on AWS.

Working alongside a globally distributed team, you will be responsible for overseeing 35 developers in London, handling all the production environment and automation needs.

Need to be able to program in OOP Python – they want a cloud and CI/CD evangelist, an individual who can design, write, and build custom systems, with a huge focus on the DevOps principles.

Required Skills:
Proven experience in a DevOps or infrastructure role.
Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong OOP Programming (Python is a MUST)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS is preferred).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
