Overview

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to support a high-profile Cyber Excellence Programme within the financial services sector. This role will be pivotal in driving strategic cyber initiatives with a focus on DNS management, network governance, and cloud security.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and aligning complex workstreams, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring that programme objectives are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the delivery of a cyber-focused programme with multiple interconnected workstreams
Oversee activities related to DNS management, network governance, and cloud security enhancements
Define and maintain programme plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
Coordinate across technical and business teams to ensure clear communication and delivery alignment
Identify risks and dependencies and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
Drive governance and reporting across the programme lifecycle
Engage senior stakeholders across security, IT, and operations
Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience delivering cyber security or infrastructure transformation programmes
Strong understanding of DNS infrastructure, network architecture, and security governance
Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud-based security controls
Experience working within a Tier 1 bank or large-scale financial services organisation
Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
Strong problem-solving ability and organisational skills
Ability to bring structure and clarity in fast-paced, complex environments

Desirable

Experience working within a consulting or transformation-led environment
Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, PMP, Prince2)
