Job Specifications

Our client are a top tier consultancy looking for a DevOps Engineer with Splunk experience on a 12 months contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant applications on AWS.
Champion and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
Leverage key AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM to drive infrastructure and application improvements.
Configure and maintain infrastructure using Terraform or Ansible.
Administer and implement logging, telemetry, and monitoring solutions (preferably Splunk or ELK).
Integrate QA and testing into DevOps pipelines to support agile software development practices.
Engage with both internal and external stakeholders, clearly communicating technical concepts and project status.
Demonstrate an appetite for continuous learning and adopting new technologies and best practices.
Key Skills & Experience:
Strong AWS infrastructure engineering background.
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
Solid understanding of monitoring and logging solutions - ideally Splunk.
Comfortable in Agile environments with continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Active Security Clearance (SC) is essential.
