About You
You’re an experienced EPC/EPCm contract professional with at least 15 years in contract administration, including 5 years working onshore in oil & gas industrial projects. You thrive in complex environments and bring expert-level knowledge in managing heavy workloads, contract negotiations, and claim management. Your communication, influencing, and networking skills are exceptional, and you're comfortable engaging with challenging stakeholders.
You're fluent in English and French, highly organized, and detail-oriented. You possess a deep understanding of project lifecycles, particularly in refinery and chemical business contexts. With a solid track record in managing cross-functional teams and sharing key learnings, you're someone who adds both structure and strategic insight to large-scale projects.
About the Role
As Contract Engineer on the Project at the platform (construction phase), you’ll play a vital role in contracts administration within an EPCm context. Your mission includes overseeing contractor performance, managing variation requests and claims, and ensuring compliance across all construction-related contractual obligations.
Key responsibilities include:
Administering and maintaining all Construction Contracts documentation.
Drafting, negotiating, and settling variation requests, amendments, and claims.
Preparing and issuing Notices of Default, Liquidated Damages, and other formal correspondence.
Managing invoice validation and maintaining financial logs.
Leading preparation of meeting minutes, weekly updates, and contract close-out documentation.
Ensuring data storage and access via the dedicated SharePoint.
This is a high-impact role where your ability to coordinate transversally, handle contractual complexity, and maintain performance under pressure will be key.
