Job Specifications

Responsibilities:
Possess a solid understanding of the (life) insurance industry.
Work closely with business stakeholders to refine requirements, ensuring feasibility, completeness, and coherence.
Document, adapt, and validate business rules and their calculations.
Collaborate with data engineers to design ETL pipelines that meet your needs.
Develop and maintain data models for reporting.
Create domain-driven data marts, enabling business teams to conduct their own reporting.
Regularly monitor and follow up on existing data marts in production.
Adhere to the established data architecture while proactively challenging and improving it where possible.
Automate data processes and extract meaningful insights.
What You Bring as a BI Engineer/Analyst:
Proven experience in a BI Engineer or Analyst role.
Expertise in data modeling and data mapping, consolidating various source systems to generate accurate insights.
Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design principles and patterns.
Proficiency in database queries (SQL).
Excellent command of English; proficiency in Dutch or French is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
