Malt’s Finance Operations team works closely with our financial partners (payment management platforms) as well as our sales and technical teams. As this department handles accounts receivables and cash collection, it plays a crucial role in managing Malt’s client relations and therefore its overall success.

We are searching for a fixed term contract Team Lead who will support the Client Operations team by supervising at least 6 people in their daily tasks. This team’s main mission is to optimize the invoicing and payment processes of the platform in order to offer our freelancers and customers an ever more exceptional experience on the Malt platform.

Key Responsibilities

Management of the Client Operations team:

Accompany the team in daily tasks (invoicing process, collection, management of purchase orders, support)
Define team priorities and KPIs according to periods / activities / workflows and monitor the performance of each team member
Promote the daily work of the Client Ops teams within the various Malt departments and promote synergies with other departments

Innovation / Process automation:

Implement and monitor billing-related projects (simplify and automate billing processes, automate order/SO processes, etc.)
Identify bottlenecks in current financial processes that cause friction on the client/freelance side and lead to low value-added manual tasks (invoice / credit note management, manual invoice sending, etc.)

About You

3+ years of experience within a billing department in a dynamic and complex environment
A first successful experience in team management
Rigorous, autonomous and very organized
Positive & constructive attitude and strong leadership skills
Creative approach to problem solving
Strong mastery of tools like Excel as well as planning and organizational skills
Full fluency in French and English, able to manage an international team and comfortable in an English-speaking environment
