Job Summary: The End User Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users within the organization. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and ensuring optimal performance of IT systems. With an over view of LAN, WAN, M365, AD etc. wireless end user trouble shooting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level support to end-users on-site, email and in-person.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
Manage user accounts and permissions.
Assist with the setup and deployment of new equipment.
Document and track issues using a ticketing system.
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.
Conduct training sessions for end-users on new technologies and best practices.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience in a technical support role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
Familiarity with network troubleshooting and basic networking concepts.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with remote support tools.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
Certification in hardware, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar.
Experience:
Experience of 3 – 4 years with core customer support and network troubleshooting experience, working from on-site.
