We are on the hunt for bold, innovative thinkers who are ready to help push the boundaries of science and make a tangible difference in the world.

Hobson Prior is seeking a Health and Safety Consultant to join our pharmaceutical client in South West England. This will be a 3-6-month contract working at their site 5 days a week.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out corrective actions from plans across manual handling, waste management etc
Lead and develop safety programs to protect employees and meet legal requirements.
Work with teams to improve safety culture and reduce workplace hazards.
Advise on safety regulations and best practices.
Mentor and support the development of the safety team.
Monitor safety performance and report on key metrics.
Ensure proper waste management and compliance with environmental standards.

Key Skills and Requirements:
Previous experience of Health and safety within a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Experience with Manual Handling, COSHH, Waste Management etc
Ideally previous experience of mentoring/managing Health and Safety professionals
NEBOSH/IOSH
Right to work within England
