What you’ll do
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Internal Engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, implement and enhance technology-based solutions to enable Adarma to better defend ourselves and our customers.
In this role, you'll:
Carry out design work by providing support in translating ideas and concepts into a detailed specification including requirements to address customer/stakeholder problems or needs.
Support the planning and conducting of market research to identify efficient and cost-effective features to incorporate into the design of a service solutions and/or applications.
Run application and network API (application programming interfaces) development in languages such as Golang, JavaScript and Python.
Implement testing to ensure viability of the proposed technical solutions and resolves any issues in advance of go live.
Ensure that the software is working effectively following the go-live stage.
Troubleshoot defects and perform root cause analysis to optimise performance.
Support in creating and implementing integrations between the partner and Adarma technologies.
Document security standards, solutions, data flows, procedures and other technical information as directed.
Provide support in the discovery and evaluation of innovative technologies to maximise development efficiency and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and develop new features and enhancements.
What you’ll bring
Relevant work experience in programming/software engineering, hold a degree in IT or related subject, or have completed an introductory/career transition coding course.
Have experience of scripting and using programming languages such as Golang, Python and JavaScript are essential
Experience in systems administration, including Linux/Windows, is beneficial.
Hold a good understanding of network protocols.
Familiarity with software development methodologies.
