Job Title: BI Developer - Contract
Location: Bristol - 4 days on-site
Contract Type: 3-month contract (Outside IR35)
Rate: £300-£350 per day
iO Associates is working with a leading hospitality brand who are seeking an experienced BI Developer to join on a contract basis to support its data team. This role is ideal for a hands-on BI specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and has a strong understanding of the hospitality sector.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop intuitive dashboards and reports using Power BI (or similar tools)
Translate stakeholder needs into scalable, insight-driven data products
Optimise data models in collaboration with engineers for performance and clarity
Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and easy to access
Support self-serve analytics, maintain documentation, and enhance data governance
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong BI development background with SQL and tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
Solid understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and ETL
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Confident working with stakeholders and translating requirements
Excellent communicator with a proactive, delivery-first approach
Must have hospitality industry experience (multi-site or extended stay preferred)
Able to work 4 days/week on site in Bristol
