What You'll Do
Join Viasat's Product Management organization and join a team that plays a pivotal role in crafting our product offerings. Evaluate markets, seize opportunities, and improve existing products to ensure our world-class teams develop valuable propositions. We are excited to welcome interns to our team this summer to assist with this exciting work!
The day-to-day
Assists product managers with market research, competitive analysis, and product strategy development
Collects and analyzes data/metrics for product performance and reporting to make recommendations to the team
Builds out automated and manual processes
Assists in gathering and documenting requirements, Decomposes a product/feature into discrete tasks
Identifies dependencies between market needs and engineering capabilities
Comprehends product decisions impacting Operations, Planning, Strategy, and Finance
Work closely with engineering as technical peer
Provides support with data-driven arguments
Internship Program Details:
You will work onsite at a Viasat office location for the duration of your 12-13 week internship. Viasat embraces a flexible work environment and onsite/hybrid work is determined by individual roles and teams.
Housing and relocation assistance are available to interns pending eligibility.
To ensure equity across our intern population, intern compensation is pre-determined based on a variety of factors including: role, location, and final graduation date. Intern compensation is non-negotiable.
What You'll Need
Education Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in data science, engineering, math, physics, or a related STEM field
To be eligible for this position your final graduation date must fall between December 2025 and June 2026
Internship Dates:
You must be available for the full duration of the 12-13 week internship program. Note limited exceptions may be granted. Viasat offers two options based on semester and quarter academic calendars:
Cohort 1: May 20th, 2025 - August 15th, 2025 (if hired by April 1st)
Cohort 2: June 17th, 2025 - September 12th, 2025

Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
