SAP Data Migration Specialist
Location: London
Contract Type: Contract 9-12 months

Our client, a specialist international infrastructure investment manager, is currently seeking a SAP Data Migration Specialist to lead the migration of complex financial data from Sun Systems to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. This is a key role in a high-profile transformation programme, offering the opportunity to work at the heart of a mission-critical SAP implementation.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and take ownership of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud data migration load activities using the SAP Data Migration Cockpit
Investigate and resolve data migration cockpit issues and defects during data load cycles
Collaborate closely with the Data Management Lead to ensure accurate migration of complex financial data from Sun Systems to SAP S/4HANA
Develop and implement robust data migration strategies, processes, and procedures
Perform data validation and cleansing activities to uphold data integrity and quality throughout the migration lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in senior data migration roles, with a strong focus on financial data migration
Proven experience in at least one SAP Public Cloud Implementation for Finance and Procurement
Deep understanding of legacy ERP systems (especially Sun Systems) and experience migrating to SAP S/4HANA
Strong experience working with external implementation partners and managing end-to-end data migration projects
Advanced skills in SQL, Excel, and Python for data manipulation, validation, and transformation
