SQL Developer - Short Term Contract
A high performing hedge fund has a mandate for a SQL expert to join a trading team in their London office for a short term contract. The team has an existing SQL database that is in need of improving in speed and stability. Strong fundamentals of SQL is required to make an immediate impact on the existing infrastructure.

With your SQL expertise, you will work with the trading team to troubleshoot issues in performance and instability; implement performance enhancements; analyse bottlenecks in the database and improve them; communicating findings with internal stakeholders; and work independently to manage and complete short-term priorities.

The contract requires an expert in SQL with experience in performance tuning; a demonstrated ability to identify and fix slow queries; hands-on troubleshooting experience; and strong problem-solving skills.

Compensation on offer is in the region of £80,000 up to £110,000 per annum. This is an urgent requirement and the firm are looking for the successful candidate to start asap.
