Elevate Supply is currently working with secondary schools in Bury who are looking to appoint a Secondary Teaching Assistant to start in Easter. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in a student's day-to-day school life by providing tailored support to meet their specific needs.

Position Overview

Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Bury
Day Rate: £95 - £110 per day dependant on experience
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

Support students with special educational needs in and outside the classroom.
Assist in the delivery of lesson content.
Help with classroom management and organization.
Provide one-to-one or small group support for students who need additional help.

Requirements

Experience supporting students in a secondary school setting (desirable).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to student welfare and education.
Patience, flexibility, and a proactive approach.
An understanding of special educational needs (SEN).
Experience as a Teaching Assistant (preferable but not essential).
