Aventis Solutions is partnering with a leading technology team to build a cutting-edge AI Innovation Team, and we are looking for an exceptional Machine Learning Engineer / MLOps Engineer / AIOps Engineer / AI Data Engineer / Data Scientist / Data Science Engineer / Software Engineer Tech Lead to be at the heart of this transformation.
Call it what you want, but this is a critical role for someone who can bridge the gaps between data science, data engineering and software engineering, ensuring AI/ML models are successfully built, deployed and scaled. You will work on real-world machine learning applications, leveraging vast datasets and cutting-edge technology to create real business impact.
Key Details:
Salary: £80,000 – £85,000 + 25% bonus + 15% pension contribution + strong benefits package
Location: London-based HQ + flexible remote working options
Future Growth: Opportunity to progress into a more rounded Head of AI Engineering very quickly. Or, move into wider architecture type positions. There's plenty that this can lead to, and the firm will support this from the off.
Key skills desired / what you will be doing:
Develop and deploy AL/ML artificial intelligence / machine learning models for large-scale business applications.
Build and maintain high-performance data pipelines, integrating structured and unstructured data sources.
Take AI models from prototype to fully scalable production systems.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and real-time model monitoring.
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to align AI solutions with commercial goals.
Financial services experience is desired but not essential.
API development (FastAPI, Flask)
Tech stack: Azure, Python, Databricks, Azure DevOps, ChatGPT, Groq, Cursor AI, JavaScript, SQL, Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Azure ML, Docker, Kubernetes and many more.
