Job Specifications

Amoria Bond are currently hiring for an NPI Quality Engineer for an initial 6 month contract with one of our automotive customers based in the West Midlands (on site.) The contract is Outside IR35.

Our customer are a large manufacturer within the automotive industry. Suitable Quality Engineer’s should demonstrate examples of confirming specifications for performance, quality, durability and fault finding of automotive components. Additionally the successful Quality Engineer should show their ability to self-manage and demonstrate a track record of project control.

Skills:
NPI (new product introduction)
Customer facing experience
Background in tier 1 automotive engineering
Quality Engineering experience – 5 years minimum
PPAP/ APQP/ FMEA
IATF16949 / ISO9001
TS16949
Metal forming and fabrication process knowledge
Leadership experience

Desirable Skills:
BIW, chassis or structural parts ideally

Education:
Minimum HNC level in Engineering/Manufacturing discipline
QA qualification would be useful (not essential) - IQA/CQI

The contract is initially 6 months but are likely to be extended depending upon performance and workload.
