Agentycs is a platform-as-a-service offering various state-of-the-art generative AI functionality for data access, analytics and automation. This platform is utilised to develop and deploy custom AI applications to serve a variety of specialised business use cases.

Role overview
As a back-end engineer you would be responsible for implementing features and system enhancements on the Agentycs core platform and various custom application. This is an exciting engineering role incorporating innovative technologies and challenges of scale, security and systems design.

Role details
Remote-only.
35 days’ holiday including bank holidays.
Full-time 40 hours per week, availability expected between 10am - 6pm.

A suitable candidate would have
A background developing data-intensive applications.
Experience deploying and managing your own services without using managed cloud products - Agentycs is fully self-hosted with 0 proprietary dependencies.
Experience with event driven application development and functional programming concepts.
A strong understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native containerised application concepts.
Strong initiative and the ability to make sensible decisions without micromanagement.
A willingness to communicate and solve problems collaboratively.

Do not apply if
You’ve never built applications without managed services from AWS / Vercel / Azure / Cloudflare etc.
You’re not interested in getting involved with DevOps processes.
