About This Vacancy

Design, develop, and maintain embedded Android applications and systems.
Develops back-end logic and modern user interfaces
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Analyzes the product requirements and translate them into specifications and architectural designs
Implement security and data protection measures.
Troubleshoot and debug embedded systems to ensure optimal performance.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

What We Expect From You

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded systems development with Android - passionate about coding in Kotlin/Java and C++
Strong understanding of Android SDK, NDK, and development tools.
Experience with embedded Linux and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Experience in developing embedded software/firmware on Android
Familiarity with hardware interfaces and protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Android low level OS knowledge (knowledge of MDEP is a big plus)
Knowledge of (embedded) Android internals
Linux low level OS
Network communication (TCP/UDP…)
Multithreading (thread safety mechanisms…)
Git and/or Svn, CI/CD, TDD, automation
Video/Audio processing, codecs, OpenGL / Gstreamer, Qt, Android media framework
Security
Devops and infrastructure
