Join an established engineering & design business who are shaping the future of complex infrastructure projects within offshore energy.

We’re partnering with a global engineering leader in the design, construction, and operation of safe and sustainable plants and infrastructure. As part of a landmark offshore Carbon Capture Pipeline project launching in May 2025, we are looking for an experienced and passionate HSE Officer & Trainer to help set the highest safety standards from day one.

Why this role?
This is more than just a HSE job. It’s a chance to drive a culture of safety across a high-profile project — from training and audits to on-site coaching and behavioural safety leadership.

What you’ll do:
Design and deliver project-specific, corporate, and statutory HSE training programs.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
Execute project-wide HSE audits and follow-up.
Coach on-site personnel in proactive safety behaviours.
Roll out behavioural safety initiatives and campaigns.
Monitor and report on HSE performance and trends.
Implement and support Safe Systems of Work and readiness protocols.
Lead the execution of the Project Risk Assessment Schedule.
Manage procurement of HSE items and equipment.
Maintain accurate HSE data and reporting systems.

What we’re looking for:
Strong understanding of IMCA, IOGP, CDM regulations and HSE ACOPs.
Ready to respond to incidents or investigations with short notice.
Confident trainer and communicator at all levels of the organisation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for HSE data).
A proactive and innovative mindset — you don't just tick boxes; you raise the bar.
Skilled in conflict resolution and calm under pressure.
A natural team player who leads by example.

Your experience and qualifications:
Minimum 2 years with an IMCA contractor preferred.
NEBOSH General Certificate (essential); NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5 (preferred).
