AWS Cloud Architect - Paris / Remote

Next Ventures are currently looking for an experienced AWS cloud architect to join a large retail client located in France on a 6 month extendable contract

The role will be primarily remote with some onsite presence required. Either 1 day a week or 3-4 days per month.

The Role

Design end-to-end cloud architectures on AWS for new and existing applications.
Troubleshoot and debug end-to-end cloud application code using AWS stack
Provide detailed documentation, end-user training, and knowledge-transfer services to customers.
Application performance tuning and optimization
Experience in serverless architecture and cloud native development
Clear understanding of software development & version control best practices
Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it.
Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
Define service capacity planning strategies.
Implement the application’s CI/CD pipeline using the AWS CI/CD stack.
Write infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or similar.

Your Skills and Experience

5+ years of experience in a Cloud engineering or development role.
Expertise in Python scripting is required.
Deep familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, API Gateway, Step Functions
Experience in DevOps environments and integrating CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of system integration and microservice design
Experience working in an Agile development methodology
Understanding the Principles of OAuth2.0
