Performance Engineer
Hybrid – Belgium | Full-time (CDI preferred)

We’re looking for a Senior Performance Engineer to take the lead on performance testing, observability, and system optimization within a dynamic product team.
What You’ll Be Working On
As our Senior Performance Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert ensuring our systems run smoothly at scale. You'll collaborate with engineering, architecture, and DevOps to build a high-performance, observable platform that supports thousands of users globally.
You will:
Design, evolve and implement performance testing and observability frameworks
Build and maintain monitoring dashboards using Grafana, DataDog, Splunk, etc.
Run and analyze load & stress tests to identify bottlenecks and define optimization strategies
Partner with development teams to improve code and infrastructure performance
Integrate observability into our CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Continuously monitor and tune backend systems, databases, and cloud infrastructure
Tech Environment You’ll Dive Into
You don’t need experience with everything on this list, but you should feel at home with a modern DevOps / performance engineering stack:
Load Testing & Profiling: K6, Gatling, JMeter, LoadRunner, Blazemeter
Observability & APM Tools: Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog, Splunk, Dynatrace, New Relic
Automation & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions
Languages & Scripting: Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bash
Database Tuning: Strong understanding of SQL and system metrics
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in performance engineering, systems monitoring, or site reliability
Strong analytical skills with a passion for performance tuning and system design
Collaborative team player with clear communication skills across functions
Proactive mindset – you love solving complex problems and making systems better
