IR35: Outside
Day rate: £400 per day
Location: Hybrid - 1/2 day a week onsite (locations such as Preston, Manchester)

Brief Overview:
Forsyth Barnes are currently working with a key client who are looking for a Business/Data Analyst to support the delivery of multiple Value Case dashboards across various business areas. The successful candidate will act as a central point of contact for business engagement, work with teams to identify and document data sources, and design Power BI dashboards to meet evolving business requirements.
The role will involve working closely with SMEs to ensure data catalogue completion in Purview, documenting calculation methods for measures, and highlighting any data quality issues. Experience in the utilities or energy sector would be advantageous but is not essential.).
Required Skills/Experience:
Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst on data-driven projects.
Strong Power BI dashboard design and delivery experience.
Ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Skilled in documenting business requirements, data sources, and calculation methods.
Knowledge of data governance and data cataloguing (Purview experience desirable).
Strong attention to detail, excellent documentation and communication skills.
Utilities/Energy sector experience beneficial but not essential.
