London – Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Permanent/ Fixed Term Employment

We’re hiring talented Data Scientists to join our growing UK Data Science team at UST. If you have a passion for solving complex problems, thrive in client-facing roles, and can explain advanced concepts to non-technical audiences, this is the role for you.

The Role

Lead client engagements, uncover business needs, and propose data-driven strategies
Design and deliver high-impact models, insights, and visualizations using large datasets
Guide full project lifecycles—from data ingestion to model deployment in the cloud
Present insights through clear, executive-friendly reports and dashboards
Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of continuous learning
Contribute to best practices, reusable methodologies, and knowledge sharing

What You Will Bring

MSc/PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a senior data science or client-facing role
Strong skills in Python, R, SQL, and experience with ML deployment in cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure)
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders
Proven leadership, mentoring, and project management experience
Track record of thought leadership (e.g., publications, talks, patents) is a plus
