Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking investment firm specialising in sports-related acquisitions and investments. They focuses on maximizing opportunities within the sports industry and is currently mandated on several live deals across different sports and geographies.
As an Investment Analyst, you will support the M&A/Investment team in sell-side and buy-side mandates. This is a short-term contract position with a specific focus on one acquisition within the sports industry, with opportunities to be involved in other transactions.

Responsibilities
Work closely with the M&A/Investment team on materials preparation, analysis, and transaction execution for a specific acquisition.
Participate in building and updating financial models to assess the financial viability and potential returns of the investment.
Prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders, showcasing the investment opportunity and its strategic value.
Interact with clients, investors, and other stakeholders throughout the deal process, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Contribute to due diligence processes and assist in drafting transaction documents to support the successful completion of the acquisition.

Requirements
1-2 years of experience in Investment Banking with a focus on M&A or experience in Private Equity/Growth Equity.
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with experience in building, updating, and presenting financial models.
Financial due diligence experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of interacting with clients, investors, and other advisers.
Analytical in approach with a keen attention to detail.

Details
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 2 weeks, with potential for extension
Day rate: Up to £250 PAYE or £300LTD depending on experience
Location: Full-time in central London office
