M365 Security Engineer - In4Matic

Job Specifications

Are you passionate about Microsoft 365 security and eager to take on a technically diverse role? Our client is looking for someone who enjoys scripting, cloud environments, and proactively securing complex IT ecosystems. You’ll work independently on challenging projects, with strong team support when needed.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll take ownership of maintaining and improving the security of Microsoft 365 environments for a wide range of end users. Your work will be hands-on and impactful, focusing on automation, problem-solving, and enhancing cloud platform protections.

Manage and secure Microsoft 365 environments for multiple customers.
Script and automate tasks using PowerShell and Python.
Collaborate with both Windows and Linux systems (focus on Windows; Linux is a plus).
Provide technical support to customers within M365 and various cloud environments.
Monitor and improve cloud security, particularly in Azure and AWS.
Work autonomously on projects such as deploying containers in AWS, with backup support from the team.
Handle incidents and proactively improve system security.

The Ideal Candidate

You’re not only technically skilled but also eager to grow and tackle new challenges. You're a problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative yet independent environment.

1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position (e.g. M365 Security Engineer, System Support Engineer).
Strong scripting knowledge in PowerShell and Python.
Basic understanding of networking principles.
Solid experience with Windows; any experience with Linux is a bonus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
Able to work independently while maintaining close communication with the team.
Demonstrated passion for IT and cybersecurity.

Other Requirements

Languages Dutch and English (both required).
1-2 days teleworking possible
