If the prospect of a spot of data and business analysis makes you fly out of bed on a Monday morning, then you could be a fantastic fit for one of two new temporary roles in our team.

Helping to drive delivery of our digital transformation programme, we’re looking for someone who can identifyopportunities to modernise, streamline, and enhance user-centric services and business processes. Our communities are at the heart of our approach, so this is a chance to have a really positive impact on our residents and make their lives easier, while simultaneously helping to streamline processes for staff.

You’ll work closely with key stakeholders across the council to analyse and document business functions and end-to-end customer journeys, so great people skills are critical. Using innovative evidence gathering and process improvement tools and techniques, you’ll need to map our current position and aspirations for each function against a digital maturity model.

As part of this, you’ll take the lead on recommending and implementing key design principles based on your experience and expertise, as you re-engineer processes to meet our digital ambitions and communities’ needs.

This is a brilliant opportunity to help shape the council’s digital programme over the coming years, transform our approach, and make a real difference to how we design our services for residents. You’ll also be asked to feed your insights into the rollout of Microsoft 365, as you’ll be reporting to our Microsoft 365 Project Manager.

Based in Andover, Hampshire, Test Valley Borough Council spans two market towns, beautiful chocolate box villages and miles of stunning countryside. You can get to London in just under an hour, and as we’re located just off the A303, it’s an easy trip to surrounding towns and cities including Southampton, Basingstoke and Winchester.
